Accountant

We are seeking a “difference maker” - to join our team as an Accountant in our Arlington, Virginia office.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various accounting processing functions including account receivable, accounts payable, processing employee expense reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support submission of invoices in for all assigned T&M & FFP Contracts.
• Book monthly journal entries.
• Assist on all month-end close processes.
• Assist during the internal and external auditing process.
• Participate in special projects, as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related business field required
• 1-5 years of experience in a professional firm
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Costpoint a plus
• Proactive self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and an ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet pressing deadlines
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
